The Beyond Fear Transnational Research Report is the cornerstone of the project. This strategic document provides a detailed and up-to-date overview of gender-based violence in the workplace across the partner countries, offering valuable insights for policymakers, employers, trade unions, NGOs, and institutions.
The report analyses the lived experiences of women workers, exploring perceptions of workplace violence, barriers to reporting, and the challenges in recognising abuse, harassment, and inappropriate behaviour. It also examines cultural, social, and structural factors that perpetuate workplace violence, alongside an assessment of employers’ policies, organizational responsibilities, and corporate culture.
One of the project’s key outputs is the Beyond Fear Training Programme, specifically designed for adult working-age women (24+). Built on the evidence gathered during the research phase, the programme empowers participants with knowledge, skills, and practical tools to recognise, prevent, and respond to gender-based violence at work.
The training is structured into six thematic modules, aligned with identified needs and designed to support the awarding of micro-credentials. It adopts a blended learning approach, combining face-to-face sessions, guided learning activities, and online resources to ensure flexibility, accessibility, and impact.
The Beyond Fear MOOC is a free, always-available online course based on the six validated training modules. It features interactive content, such as videos, practical exercises, and quizzes, designed to promote engaging, sustainable learning. Fully compliant with WCAG accessibility standards, the MOOC will be translated into all partner languages and remain freely accessible for at least five years after the project’s end.
The Compendium for Employers is a practical, awareness-raising guide that addresses behaviours—often unintentional—that can negatively impact employees, particularly women. Through real-life case analyses, checklists, preventive and corrective measures, and clear recommendations, it supports employers in strengthening company policies and fostering respectful, inclusive working environments.
The Digital Self-Assessment Tool enables employers to evaluate their organisational practices for preventing workplace violence. Using intuitive questionnaires and interactive scenarios, it provides a personalised diagnosis of company behaviours and policies, along with tailored recommendations directly linked to the Compendium. The tool encourages reflection, accountability, and concrete action to prevent harmful workplace dynamics.
